Just moved to San Diego and looking for local dive buddies. In particular people that are into lobstering or hunting, preferably by kayak. I can do sight seeing only but it's not my preference. I dive backplate + wing, Hp80 or hp100 and canister light. Have about 300 cold water dives in wet and drysuits but sold my drysuits when I moved to so cal. I can also freedive ~100ft if anyone else is into it. PM me if you're interested.

Sold your drysuit when you moved to Socal? where did you come from? check out the wrinkles dives. We just missed you down in SD this weekend and should be down again soon. Enjoy socal and SD!

yikes! I think you're going to wish you still had your drysuit(s) after a few dives here...
You can try posting on Divebums.com, which is specific to SD- get on their email list (Divebums E-mail List)..
I don't hunt/lobster/kayak but I'm sure there are some people around here who do.

No shortage of buddies down Diego way! Wreck capitol of California! But you might want to buy your drysuit back...

I think he might have trouble finding buddies in SD....I don't know anyone who's into lobstering or hunting. This is Socal my friend :)

Just moved from SF. I dove here quite a bit on the big boats during lobster season. People in LA seemed like big lobster divers, especially with all the boats like the Great Escape, etc out of Long Beach. Are people in SD not into that sort of thing? Kayak diving is a great quick dive tool. No need for washing other than a quick spray down and towel dry. I used to have an inflatable but it was more work than it was worth especially with flushing the motor, etc.

I don't think there area as many people in SD into lobstering and hunting as there is in LA. In fact I can't remember the last time I saw a hunter on a boat out of SD, if ever. The ones that are don't post on the boards as much they are around just far and few between.

If you wanna do a nice relaxed sightseeing dive let me know.
