We are new to this area =- looking for condo but have time for a dive or two during the day and weekends. we heard that a group meets regularly on the beach near Lauderdale by the sea. If you can provide info please e-mail.

Welcome, I know a bit about fort lauderdale.

For condo rents, try www.realtor.com, you can find everything there. Consider buying/renting in Hollywood because it might be cheaper. There's a place with a studio for $1,200 right on hollywood beach. And if you want to spend less, there's plenty of deals for $900s and $700s. At least you're not in overpriced South Beach like me.

I'm taking my diving classes with Diver's Direct. They also have plenty of equipment and they organize some charters. They're located next to outdoor world.

Sorry you did not get any earlier responses - we were all partying this past weekend. When are you here? As long as the conditions are good there are people out diving. Lauderdale by the Sea is a popular beach dive location.

May I suggest instead of us emailing you when we are diving, it would be easier for you to keep checking this board. Somebody is planning a dive every weekend, and there are quite a few dives planned during the week also. Yes, LBTS is one of the most popular dive destinations. Even if one of us are not there, there are plenty of other divers who frequent the place also.
Most importantly, is WELCOME TO PARADISE!!!!
