My .02 cents.

You do not know how well the equipment has been taken care of. Regs can be rustbuckets and BC bladders rotton or power inflator hoses corroded and buttons sticking. Repairs and servicing could cost you enough that buying brand new would have been cheaper and you'd have gotten what you wanted upfront.
After considering the cost for servicing it and it being a used older reg set I’m looking at buying a new one better to be safe than sorry later. 👍

Good choice… I've been looking at Cressi equipment for a while, and seem to be very nice quality and affordable at least for my twice a year vacation diving

Another thing, make sure you like your dive shop, the one I trusted with my regulator were complete idiots
