... Anyway, I think we need to start a womens club on here for all the women who have partners on the board - its slowly growing and growing!!!

Grand idea Abby -- but we'll have to have secret handshakes, and code words, don't want the guys to really figure out what we're talking about.

.. met my special dive partner here, and cherish each moment we've spent together:D

That should be pretty easy to do as we don't understand women normally. And if one of us ever truely understands one of you we have probably gotten 2 steps closer to insanity than we'd like to be. hehhehehe

Hey Ashley, if he's gonna buy you a gold "critter" every time he doesn't understand your hand signals we've got to get together. I'll help you learn some cool but hard to spot critters and then we'll make up some hand signals for them he'll NEVER figure out! You'll have every undersea critter known to man in 14 karat form!

HI SYRUSS! You didn't read that did you? :wink:

Better get myself back to the briar patch I think he's carrying a bucket of tar!

Ber :bunny:

Thanks for the all the welcome aboards, but I think that I will have to change my board name to QUEEN CAD. I am so picky about the water I swim in...I am all for the Caribbean and 85 degree weather, pina coladas and speedo's (only kiddin Syruss):wink:

Again, thank you for the get wells and the welcomes I look forward to my next dive and maybe we could all meet in the Caribbean.

Welcome to the Scubaboard and to the wonderfulworld of scuba addiction, Ashley! Being syruss's better half :)p) you don't need to be told that this is the best place to spend your surface intervals and learn as much as you can about diving!

I hope you'll make the most of the Board and come back often...

Ash,
Welcome to the board. I'm glad you signed on. Hearing the story from you makes it even more credible. Anyway, glad things worked out for you. Your next Caribbean trip should be much smoother. And have him buy you an underwater slate. I use mine all the time. It really came in handy when I took my boys on their first underwater {after being certifed dives}, in St. Thomas.
And what do they say? A marriage you laugh in, is a marriage that endures. I think Bob Hope said that ...LOL {living with Syruss must be lots of laughes}

Sorry for the delay my friend....Butch, the lovely DG and myself got together Friday night (With Butch's daughter, Bottom_Sucker and Mrs. Bottom_Sucker). Had a blast, wish you were here, etc. etc.

Checked with the Canadian Atlas and you are quite right as always ( as Ashley obviously knows.....:D); The warm waters of the Carib seas extend up the Atlantic, through the St. Law Seaway and into Lake Ontario with plenty of room to spare.

And we have a few nice wrecks up here, not counting Butch and I outside the Legion on a Sudbury Saturday night (Yea Stompin Tom). The water is usually quite warm (in a Canadian kinda way).

So you and Ashely are welcome up here any ol'time.

Matt
