Welcome to the board, I just started myself, and the people are great here. I'm also in Kentucky what an interesting thing. Two people from the same place signing up about the same time... I live in Richmond which is just south of Lexington as you probably know. I assume your going to New Horizons Dive Shop. That's were I'm going to be signing up for my OW here in a couple of days.. We might be in the same class.
Feel Free to message me if you wish.

Again Welcome to the board

Robert

Hello Robert,
Thanks for replying. My dive partner and I just signed up from the 3 day (fri-sun) course at New Horizons in mid-November. I am studying the material and looking forward to the class. It's cool to meet other divers in the area. I appreciate you replying. Take care...maybe I'll see you in class.

Hello Kentucky.

I am new also. My wife and I just recently got certified here in Dallas. I am planning a 40th bday trip for her to Cozumel and we are staying at the Grande Xcaret. We stayed there right when it opened a couple of years ago and loved it. Is that the place you are talking about?

Dive Palancar, is that the Xcaret Park?

I stayed at the Occidental Grande which has it's own dive company called Dive Palancar. The resort is right off the Palancar reef. I loved it...the accomadations and staff was excellent. I have heard of the Xcaret but I've never stayed there.

I just wanted to say thanks to everyone for welcoming me. This seems like a great place, I am looking forward to reading the varierties of post that are on this site.
Thanks again.
