Just thougt I'd take the opprotunity to say hi!

I've recently spent 8 weeks learning to dive and then surveying coral reefs with Coral Cay Conservation off east tip of Roatan in Honduras. Amazing diving, amazing fish and sharks and rays and turtles and dolphins and eels and........etc. Absolutely hooked and desperately saving to go away again;) The Red Sea is looking good at the moment but still too long until I can afford to go again!!

Welcome to the board. I know what it's like to get instantly hooked on the sport. I was in Hawaii last year and a friend invited me to do a couple discover scuba dives. Since then I've gotten certified and am always looking for ways to get wet. Have fun and dive safe!

Sounds like a great trip. Roatan diving is wonderful, isn't it.

And don't be shy about posting. Click Forums above, tour the long list of choices, and jump in anywhere you're qualified. PM me with any questions, and I'll try to find a pretty good answer.

I understand your addiction. I am extremely jealous that you have already had the opportunity to dive in exotic places. My only dives have been in the quarry and I am hopelessly addicted. Welcome to the board, I am also new to diving and to the board. This seems like to be a bunch of good people.

Thanks for the welcome, all! I'm looking forward to many further diving adventures and creature encounters!! Just need to learn to brave the chilly UK waters now:)

April sounds as good a time as any (except being too far away). What's going on then?
