Moved to Colorado a year ago and finally got my dive gear out here. I used to be pretty active here in the tech forums. GUE Tech 1 certified, with some overhead experience in the great lakes. Few hundred dives under my belt, none so far in the state of Colorado. Hoping to change that soon. I sold all of my tanks during the move but still have everything else. How active of a community do we have out here? Planning on a couple trips to California this year to dive the kelp forests. I'm also perfectly happy practicing skills at the local pond.

Just moved to Denver. Any dive clubs out here?

The more divers in Colorado the merrier I say. I just wish that, like Atlas750, I knew of a dive club in Northern Colorado that met on a regular basis. Searching the net I haven't found anything North of Denver (where I live) except one affiliated with a Dive shop, and they don't apparently meet so much as try to get you to go on their scheduled and costly dive trips. To Street Doctor--Do you prefer cold dives versus tropics? The kelp beds off of La Jolla are nice but nothing compared to coral reefs. But you sound like a technical diver. Have you ever dove a cenote?
