Is a hood needed? Depends on your cold tolerance. I can go hoodless at around 57-F and up. Less than that I go with hood. Maybe a light summer 3mm hood, but at around 53 or less, I go with the full 7mm hood.

I would like to know where did you dive in Parker....and I use a hood but alot dont so it would be up to your body....
I made one dive in the last 23 years without a hood. I forgot it at home. I got an ice cream headache almost immediately.
