Hi, just stumbled onto this board looking for info for our first trip to Cozumel, and it looks like a great group of people:D . Looks like we're staying at the Hotel Villablanca and I hope to dive at least once, but otherwise have no plans other than getting out of the rain in the Pacific NW. A local instructor recommended Dive Pardise to contact for diving there.

Anyone have any other recommendations? Sites? Dive shops? Restaurants? Anything?

Welcome!

I dove with Sea Urchin Dive, and had a great time. The key is small, fast 6-8 pack boats. Here's my Cozumel trip report.

You'll have a great time.

Welcome to Scuba Board Arby!! There are great Cozmel links throughout Scuba Board.

Happy Diving

I'd recommend diving more than once. The diving is awesome and there isn't a heck of a lot else to do there ;)

Plus you can do 2 tanks and be back around lunch time. We dove every day and still had plenty of time to lounge around.

Welcome to scubaboard! :D

Well...Papa Hogs is practically "on site".....try a dive with them , try a dive with Pelagic Ventures(web site on my sig) and my personal choice. If you book with them (PV)please mention my name.....Also try a dive with Blue xt~Sea.

You will not go wrong with any of those dive ops!

I second that motion. I would do as much diving as you can stand. I went in October just before Wilma and it was my first time in the ocean. We used Dive with Martin and ended up doing 17 dives in 7 days. It was incredible. Took lots of pictures if you want to have a look.
