It snowed 3 1/2 feet at our Ski Club Lodge at Lake Tahoe Friday through Sunday, twice that above 7000 feet at the resorts. I shoveled enough snow this weekend to fill a small stadium. Storms were continuing through Tuesday. That was the second big dump this month. They are calling it the largest amount of snow in the area in 88 years. Skied the pow pow on Saturday, and made a break for home on Sunday when they opened the Interstate.

I have three new pairs of racing skis I want to try out, but both races and our race clinic got cancelled. Bummer. Oh well, it should mean lots of water for Wakeboarding and Rafting in the summer.

Now when do I get UNDER the water?

:multi: Wristshot, I was wondering what kind of skis are you waiting to try? I am the head coach at Crested Butte Academy, and I might just be able to help you decide which pair to test first! We put our racing skis away for a few days and pulled the fat boys out!
