This last beach dives, we had a diver with a Blacktip join us. He set the pace. For the most part, I did the entire dive on 5th “gear”, using top speed to catch up to someone or to beat someone to the next ledge. After a 90 minute dive, I was at 50% battery.
How did that compare to the blacktip user?

The diver was on a Blacktip Tech - so he had the range and duration but not the speed. I am pretty certain he had at least 50% of his battery left. Speed kills the battery life. And we were going slow.

I did a demo dive with the Seacraft Go as a tow scooter. I ran it up to the jump to Avalanche Alley in Jackson Blue, about 2,600ft into the cave. Despite towing it through multiple restrictions on the trigger, I hardly noticed that it was there, in fact a couple of times I reached back to check on it.

I also played with in in the cavern zone, I still hate the ramp up speed, and wouldn't want it as a primary.

I'll probably buy it from Cave Adventurers, as they have it setup perfectly for towing. They reported that the latest batch now is at $5,600.
