Hi all,
Just Picked up one of the new Scubapro Nova 230.
First off, BLOODY bright light. seems well put together and runs off 3 C cells.
Output puts up a good fight against a halcyon 10W HID the Nova comes off second best of course but still very impressive.
The claied burn time is 14-18 hours, I very much doubt this but ill burn test it tomorrow.
Now the bad things.
Its a little big, bout a centermeter or so longer then the Halcyon scout.
Aluminium dends to get pretty beat up, hasnt yet but we will see.
just thought id giva yas a quick review

I have a few questions about your new light. I quess we will not get it here in the states.
(1) How much was it?
(2) dose it have a switch or did you twisted the light head to trun it on,off

It looks like a great light.

to address the above:
1, RRP is $169, i work at a Scubapro dealer so i got looked after
2, twist on. 2 orings and plenty of extra thread so you cant flood by turning just a little past off like some lights

Hey there,
I hope you are still enjoying your Nova torch , I'm thinking of getting one , and I have a couple of questions :

By experience whats the average real burn time ?

I read that the beam angle is around 10 degrees , does it really feel that narrow in real life ?

Thanks
Nomro
