Following up on the structure of the D550

On the left is the (marred) Orca and on the right is my replacement light, the DGX-600 .

Note how the DGX has a reinforcing (silver!) lining and the lining in the Orca stops about a short way before reaching the end of the black aluminium shell tube?

Using a micrometer, the thickness of the Orca is .095" and the DGX is .130" (including threads). The feel of the DGX is much more robust, and im sure it will survive my abuse much better.

Both use the same 18650 battery
Both use the same Cree XM-L2 LED
Both have hi/lo/strobe

D550 is $109 claims upto 1000 lumens
DGX-600 is $69 claims 1100+ raw lumens
