Dee, thanks for telling us about this place. I am still out here, I just mostly lurk for now. But I am itching to get in the water once it gets warmer.

Well That is exciting news. I am in Pearland only about 15 minutes from Manvel. I'll have to make a quick trip and check it out. Please let me know when you guys are going to check it out and I'll be there. It's a close place to get wet. Thanks.!!

Has anyone been to Twin Lakes yet? I was hoping to go this weekend, but looks like it'll be next weekend before I can make it.

I just received an email from Twin Lakes stating the following:

Per the web-site we are open 24 hours on Saturday. If you cannot find an attendant when you arrive please set up camp and look for us first chance that you get. Presently we request that you purchase your park passes on-line and bring the release with you so that we can collect that when you present your C-card. Until we can install a compressor we have made
arrangements to pre-rent tanks for you from a local dive shop. Please just let us know how many you will need.

See you soon!

Mike

Anybody want to join me next weekend in checking this place out?

Hey DiverG,

I will join you next weekend. I will PM my phone number and we can set-up a time.

See you then!:D

hi

I would love to meet you all there next weekend. Sunday is
Easter, so hopefully your planning on Saturday. Let me know,
I am only about 15 minutes away (Pearland). Look forward
to seeing the new park and meeting you. Thanks.

Well I was originally thinking about Sunday before I was told that that is Easter. So I think that we should shoot for Saturday if the weather is good.

I'd be very interested in going, if there is someone who doesn't mind buddying with a new diver (8 dives).

If such a charitable soul is planning on going Saturday, please let me know and I will make plans to come :)

Jeff, I don't think it'll be a problem finding a buddy to dive with. We just need half way decent weather. The long range forcast isn't looking good. Hopefully by the end of the week it'll change.

I can attest to one thing about Fetch....He ain't no WWW! (warm water weenie)

He was in the 52F water with me in PK and having a great time. Even his air consumption for a new diver in cold water was right on track!

*chuckle*

I _do_ dislike being cold, however  I definately need to get some better gear before trying THAT again :)
