Im looking to buy a new reg ,but im not sure which would be the best. I live in Ohio and dive frequently all year. I currently use an Aqualung Legend Supreme LX and I havent had any problems with it. Price isn't an option ,but the reg would need to be Env. Sealed and cold water approved. Any comments or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Here are the ones that im interested in
1}Legend LX Supreme,
2}Apeks xtx 200
3}Atomic m1,b2,z2
4} Oceanic Delta 4

Because you already have one, why not buy another Legend?? Less hassle when it comes to service as you already have one.

As for the other regs on your list, all are fine regs. I am partial to Atomics as their seconds are a bit more compact than others.

Apeks XTX 200 is the best of the 3

A little fact goes a long way. Instead of just saying which is "best" why not add some facts to tell the OP why that is the best choice. Making the consumer educated about what they are buying goes a long way. If you explain why it is the "best" of his choices he'll not only learn about his gear but he'll be better prepared to compare his choices rather than relying on someone else to tell him what to buy.

Apeks XTX 200 would be my first choice,I can't easily get support these days or I would still use Apeks, I use Zeagle you should look at them also.

OK, the Apeks Reg. became here in to the cold Water with others also on the list stand testet! best of all took a short-cut of the Apeks! (the same model). most badly the Oceanic and Legend, they have cried off on 40 m with 4 ° water temp! hence, I advise the Apeks (heard to Aqua-Lung), many from my association dip him move. also and very much very much sher contently with him!

:shakehead:sry for my bad english!

The Aqualung Legend will do the job fine. Joel Silverstein of Tech Diving Limited regularly takes Legends to the Andre Doria. Apeks no problem .
The Legend is also marketed in a cold water version but the only difference is the lip guard and they lower the IP 10 psi. The Legend is environmentally sealed.

Oh ,yeah. Here in Ohio we are experiencing some quite cold temps. Last night I put a big tub of water outside and when I get home tonight will be trying to get my Scubapro MK25 /G250V to free flow from typical breathing rates. I'll throw the regs in there and see what happens. I left the reg in the garage all night to make sure it is cold as well. The only thing I won't be able to do is simulate the increased volume of air that results in deeper dives but we'll see.

I report about the experiences of my colleagues here in Germany! where one is a matter also diving with very cold wasser! not as well as I often read here, "it is cold for 15 ° and I hold it hardly from with the Temp.!" first-class say I only!
