Hi all,

I am currently in the market for replacing my regs (no need for tips on which one to get) and need to decide to get either DIN or Yoke on my first stage.

I am currently using DIN but since I will be moving to baja california sur (mexico) within a year I am wondering if I might be better off to get a yoke first stage.

I am not particularly fond of the adapters and would like something that will work out of the box in most places.

Does any body have any experience in mexico, preferably baja in particular (also interested in cozumel and florida keys regions)?

My diving is restricted to basic recreational diving and I don't intend to go into the technical realms.

All insights for this european soon to cross the ocean are greatly appreciated!

In the Florida Keys almost all rental tanks will be yoke style AL 80's. I have no experience in the other regions you mention.

Cozumel = yoke

Lucky you!
Club Cantamar @ La Paz: yoke
Amigos del mar @ Cabo: yoke
They may have DIN now, but yoke is the most common.
