I will sometimes use both my 35 year old Edge and my newer Oceanic. I trust them both and all I need is a nickle to change the battery on either.

Tom, the EDGE is "only" 25 years old.
 
Your PRAM will be good to go where ever you decide to dive it if it is set up correctly. Mine has been under the ice several times as well as being in the icey cold depths of Lake Michigan. It is a fine upgrade for the DA and even for the RAM.
 
YIPPEE!!! I assembled my Phoenix nozzle this morning and installed it on my old DAAM. Thanks to a little advice from Herman, the assembly was quick and easy. I adjusted the IP to 139-140 PSI with no leaks and no creep. I'm taking her out Wednesday to try her in the water!
 
Good! No one wants do dive with a creep.
