For a few days I had thought that I lost my dive log book. Its not something that I keep as meticulously as I should but nevertheless, I was pretty upset. I ultimately found my dive book but figured that I needed to do something to store my dives somewhere else, that wasn't my computer at home or dive computer (they both crash) or hand written notes (they get lost). Naturally, I figured the web would be the answer.

So on my train rides into work, I created this site: http://www.diverslog.net . Accounts are quick to setup and once you confirm your email address you can add as much or as little about your dives to the site. You then will also have a link where people can go and see your stored dive log and more info about each dive. Best of all, the information is stored in a database that is backed up daily and the site is FREE (as in beer)!

So what do you say? Why not, head over to http://www.diverslog.net and give it a try and then send me some feedback. I would love to hear some more ideas to make the site better or some bugs that currently exist (I'm just one person so take it easy :D).

Hopefully the mods of ScubaBoard won't mind that I posted a link in the side menu of diverslog.net to this site. While I have only registered today, I am definitely a lurker and love ScubaBoard site.

Thanks!
