I was trying to locate the "Reef Tag" for my car and stumbled across this site using Yahoo search just a few days ago. (and now I'm addicted) :)

I was originally searching Google for information on setting up an Olympus c-5050 for use underwater. It brought up a thread from the Oly forum.

Talked to a guy at Hatts in Melbourne FL that really recommended the board, did not catch his name :06: .

Hi, I'm a CMAS1* and AOWD PADI, taking the Rescue course and planning to become DM.

I joined this forum because I'd like to have some advise to choose the right diving computer for me, to share experiences and to help or be helped by the forum's members.

Thanks for the chance

Tech Admin:
ScubaBoard is always looking to make things better and that means better understanding of who our users are. Please answer this poll telling us how you found our site, and if you have a minute to spare, please make a quick post with any more information you have such as the particular site you used, the user who referred you or the search phrase.

This is of course a completely optional poll and is being used to get a vague estimate of where our active posters come from.
I happende on the site during a search using Goggle while looking for info on underwater GPS.

I chanced upon scubaboard whilst using Google to search for information / prices for drysuits. Given that my active diver status lapsed some 20 years ago, I've a little bit of catching-up to do.... Still, I will be staying by the sea soon, so things will be alot more convenient and hopefully I won't have forgotten too much :-\
And whilst 'in hibernation' from cold water diving in Scotland, I have managed the occasional plunge in warmer climes such as the Med and Florida, so that the basic skills have been practiced (if only a little) :-)

Although I wasn't exactly anxious about obtaining a drysuit, it seems that absolutely nobody dives in a wetsuit these days in northern latitudes - and so there seems to be little choice other than to go for a drysuit...?!?

Ciao for now!

Juls64 told me about the site when I was first being certified. Been here ever since.
