You are in a great spot of the world for diving. The last I heard Hickham has a pretty active scuba Club on base. I would start there. I took an Advance Instructor's course up at Schofield, Hawaii Scuba University...they specialize in training vets utilizing the VA benefits. If you are interested in going that route someday something to keep in mind.
