Wow! Serious resort! Always liked that location. Well, opening the shades in the morning to naked German tourists got some getting used to

You should find out where the KLM flight attendants hang out, way better. I did and enjoyed it very much after each dive I made there, nice "view" to come out of the water and see :)

No sign yet of dive shop yet but there’s not much on the website. It would be nice if Go West opened a location there.
Interesting. My wife and I went to Curacao in 2010. We stayed at Lodge Kura Hulanda (defunct) and dived with Go West predecessor. One day, we were out on a boat and seas got too big to return to the dock. Instead, we docked at the old Sunset Waters facility. It was totally decrepit, stripped on anything of value and covered with graffiti. However, it looked like a nice site for a scuba operation.

Jump ahead to the TUI hotel. Looks nice but no mention of a scuba operator on site let alone any boat options. I am very familiar with Chogogo on Bonaire, they have an operator, no piers, no boats, seems much more for the Netherlands vacation crowd.

We'll see.

I remember right after it closed there were pictures posted here of the hotel stripped. Plumbing, etc all gone. The current hotel lists scuba as an option provided by a 3rd party...
