Hey there you guys, I’m Rob and I am a new diver as of this past June. After completing my cert dives, my Buddy and I headed straight for Kona to try some actual ocean diving. We did an afternoon dive to see the Garden Eels and followed that up with the nighttime Manta Ray dive. WOW was that cool! Two morning dives the next day, so four total. Anyhow, after that trip it seems I’m hooked. I’ve already bought my gear and am planning to head to Cozumel in the not too distant future.

Looking forward to asking many dumb questions!

Yep, Cozumel is one of my favorite "local" spots. Welcome!

Welcome to ScubaBoard @R_Glad

No questions are dumb, but it's better to ask than not to ask.

Cozumel was my first real dive trip and we were immediately hooked. We go there at least twice each winter. Good thing about being in Denver as you have a non-stop on UAL. It is an awesome place to learn and dive. My wife did her Advanced training there, which is something to consider as you progress.

2-3 times a year from Denver SW is direct as well on Saturday each way. Quick trip from here. Welcome!

Welcome to ScubaBoard and Howdy! from Texas!

Take it from me, answering dumb questions is a SB specialty :D
