1 gb is great most of the time, tho 2gb is better if you want to (a) avoid opening your camera between dives and (b) shoot a lot of video, which can chew up 1gb pretty fast. Of course, they said the video wasn't all that great on this cam anyway, so maybe not an issue.
Regardless, IF someone decides to make a housing, it'll be a fortune, so this camera gets crossed off my list due to lack of TTL (for the money). If it did have TTL, I'd have some thinking to do. (again, only if someone makes a case for it, else it's all academic)
