Extreme Exposure for $675 or Leisure Pro for $425 I will have to think about it! :rofl3:

Assuming H carries the same warranty and "free service parts for life" policy as SP, the price difference versus LP "gray market" is similar to the SP versions of the regs. Some may not care about these "value adds" but a direct comparison might not be apples to apples.

True enough, but lets look at tech diver's habits (my estimates and this product is focused on tech divers):
~50% rebuild their own equipment
~25% sell the equipment after 2 to 3 years before a real service is required and buy new again
~25% will use the official warranty

I was in the first category, but have switched to the second. Buy for $425 sell after 3 years for $250. Average cost per year ~$60 (same as annual service) and always have factory fresh hardware. I would rather go down this road than have a service tech rebuild it.

As you can see from my math, the new H would not work in my method

I'm not being disrespectful to Halcyon, the SP M25/G250V reg is a great product and I own quite a few Halcyon products. I'm only stating that this product does not work in my cost profile.

Those regs will not make it past 18 months in salt water before servicing is needed. Fresh water, probaly. Any sales on-line will be 100% greater than that of the past so it was nothing but good news for Halcyon that Scubapro signed-off on the deal...
