The only shelf regs unless that's where you keep them between dives are
the wooden barrel thing with arms or a new old stock animal skin bladder one.
 
Sorry to leave you guys hanging!! I haven't heard back from my shop yet whether they can even service it yet :( I took it in on the 12th and they said their turn around time was around 2 weeks...... So I'm still waiting too! But on a bright note I'm diving Monterey tomorrow night then Point Lobos Thursday! :)
 
Bring it to a Mares Dealer and ask for an Estimate. If they say they have to take it apart first then ask what will the cost of labor be for it to be broken down. All Mares regulators have nitrox kits available. The regulator is a diaphragm so it will fend well in cold water
