THE tank is in good shape , but i am removing it for cleaning and replacing al hose, vent and fill.

well progress is being made, have redone most of the teakwood, replaced and reglassed the deck, remove leaking skylight and installed a 17 X 32 pop open hatch with mirror finish, replace gas fill and vent tubing , fuel lines , just need to swap out the motor and a little wiring, buff out the boat add the dive ladder, and WA-LA

By the way, don't forget to tie a line to that ladder.... I've heard of one of those that popped off in heavy seas.... :shakehead:

I'll be spending the last week of June in Rockport, so drop me a line if you're coming down so I can say 'hello'! I'll probably bring my scuba gear.... :D

Hi Dave, how have things been going ? tried calling you a few times but no luck, didnt leave msg. looking about 2 weeks before boats done , but looking forward to divin with ya !

Really? They are heavy. It slides down pretty far, would have to be really rough to get the ladder to slide off. When underway, you put the ladder upside down. We've had bumpy ride back and and it stayed in place.

Personal preference, I guess. A simple and cheap precaution for a potentially troublesome mishap usually appeals to me. :)

helm area is done, just need to build new cuddy door, boats is on jack stands now for the bottom paint, buddy is coming over next week to buff out boat, then its off to mariner to have motor swaped out .... oh so close, just wish i had more time to work on it ;-)
