Hi there! I've been working on a deco planning tool for a couple of month already. I also have a trip aggregator web site (divers-hub.com) focused in South Florida.

I finally published a free deco planning tool after completing testing. Can be found at https://divers-hub.com/DecoPlanner (create a free account to access). See a few screenshots below.

The tool allows both Open Circuit and Close Circuit (CCR) planning. I've avoided using keyboard entries for any parameter: all configurations are set using sliders. It was built based on good diving practices - so the tool won't allow the user to configure gases that are not safe and will prompt warnings if the gas density or END is above recommended limits. The tool is meant to better understand decompression diving and how the math behind the models work - the "What if...?" section compares different scenarios and the impact of the model.

Feedback and suggestions are more than welcomed.

If you're looking for feedback, this is a big mistake, IMHO. Trying to set the depth, it changed as I lifted my finger from the slider. Three times. Maybe I'm an idiot. But I can type 100 way faster than I can slide to that value and have it stay there.

Also, the complete loss of deco gas is pretty extreme. I suggest you let the user turn off one or more gases to see the impact.

As others said...metric
Sliders for gross changes but maybe arrows for exact numbers.
Lost ALL deco? No. It should be per individual tanks. So even if I have 2 x 40AL with 50% then lose either or both. It might change the gas plan.
Maybe add reports ready for slate: main plan, lost deco, +5min+3meters.
Maybe add option to "lock" some of the inputs like SAC and GF that don't change between dives.
Can you look at two profiles side by side?
Can you save favorite tanks?
Can you plan repetitive dives?
Can you recall a profile from a computer and use it as inital inputs to a plan? (Real SAC, temperature, multi depth decent...etc)
If I was to print and laminate an A4 page folded in half from this plan, what would be on it?
Can I add a Buddy with different SAC for assisted ascent gas planning?

But don't take advice from idiots on the internet.

Thanks to ALL of you who provided feedback! Metric is coming VERY soon (sorry, we teach mostly imperial here in FL). Funny enough, all the deco model runs in meters, so it's a matter of displaying - but in the background when you're moving the sliders you are setting meters, not feet :)

It's an early prototype for now, but I have in mind most of the features you mentioned last (for sure save dives and fav gases, generate pdf with deco plan. Also, as you may have seen, the portal is more than a deco planner - I will implement the option to save favorite configs to the user profile (GFs, asc/desc rates, etc).

As said, this is the first "release" - more to come soon (specially if people finds this useful)
