I look at the book yesterday and I was really amaze by the amount of pictures and creatures I've never seen before. I will definitely purchase it in the near future.

You say it is coffee table quality, would it work well as an ID book to take on a trip?

Not really, It's about 9X12 in size. But I guess if you put it in a pelican case it would work
