I bet most of these lanyards will end up just dangling from the switch right next to the keys or attached to the keys instead of the wrist.

They should make a law for that...
 
Fairly simple to add. I installed one on my 23' dive boat 8 years ago. My new dive boat has one installed. Came with the controls for the outboards.
