Hi all....I just wanted to jump in and add a comment. I ordered a DIN first stage recently due to the excellent price for members and the fact that I stumbled into a few rebuild kits for the coltri sub c9000. I also picked up a oms r250 second stage from LP on a special they were running. Should be a really nice combo for a stage bottle reg.

I have pdf copy, I can email it to you.
It looks like you'll be doing your diving in pretty chilly waters. Just in case you want an environmental kit for this reg, I have them.

i was considering buy this first stage are there environmental kits left? is it possable to get a rebuild kit with HP seat?

Laura..., howabout a link listing the HP seat as well.. :)

To anyone that is interested in installing an environmental kit... I have some calls out to a few places trying to find an online source for the silicone oil needed to install it and in smaller quantities than a gallon. I will post back here if I have any luck.

The specific compound is made by Dow Corning and used to be called DC-200 100CST. It is now currently sold under the name of Xiameter PMX-200 Silicone Fluid 100CS.

Here is the product information page on the specific compound:
https://www.xiameter.com/EN/Products/Pages/ProductDetail.aspx?pid=01013190&lir=X76

And just so all of this info is on one place--Here is some discussion of the oil:

In my experience food service silicone oil works the same as any other....It is used in restaurants to lubricate deli-slicers and similar machinery. The consistency is identical to the oil supplied for environmetal kits. If memory serves, its available in quart containers from a restaurant supply company. Its a lot more economical and a quart will last a long time.

I did find this after a quick google search.

Berkel Food Grade Machine Oil

Only thing, it appears to simply be mineral oil, not silicone oil. They have the MSDS on the page as well. Anything look like it will affect o-rings, diaphrams, etc?

To those still interested in an environmental kit for this reg, I have them for $20 plus shipping. It comes with an installation manual, but without the silicone oil.
