Would a SP G500 work on this first stage?
Most any 2nd stage *can* work.
Roughly...
The 1st Stage 'regulates' the pressure from the tank (3,000 psi) to some "intermediate pressure" (IP) (say 135psi above ambient pressure). The 2nd Stage 'regulates' from the 135 to the ambient pressure your lungs want (pressure depends on depth).
So, as long as the 1st stage supplies an IP the 2nd Stage can handle it *can* work, but setup/tuning will help get the best results (nice to breath).
In other words, the 2nd stage doesn't know or care what 1st Stage it is connected to, it only matters that the 1st stage can supply a study IP that is was designed & tuned to handle.
FYI, there are some regs that were designed to work at much higher (Poseidon) or lower (Si-Tech) IPs, but they are less common and their owners usually know this stuff already.

Yes, nearly anything can be O2 cleaned. Most will come ready for 40% nitrox. However, just have it done when you get your regs done. They'll put some Viton rings it in and you'll be ready to race!

The rebuild kits I have are not all Viton O-rings. They are all standard sizes so any decent service tech should be able to match them.

this may be a stupid question but are the din 1st stages 200 or 300 bar?

I've not compared mine yet to my Oceanic 1st stages but they look 300 bar to me. I had them install the enviro kit for a couple more bucks. Keeps the salt and other baddies out of your 1st stage.
