I Have Suunto ZOOP - GR8 dive computer ....
Except the "no ability" to change air mix within diving and no backlight.

I just saw this deal on ebay:
New in the box Aeris EPIC wrist dive computer complete with transmitter
only $385!!!

Sounds too good to be true....no?

please advise about this deal ? is it really attractive?

I also found an article that " AERIS Announces Voluntary Recall
of EPIC Wrist Watch Dive Computers"

Could it be damaged dive watch ? that was refurbished?
Could it be simply " good price" for an old model ( 2008~ )?

Any thought will be Much appreciated

I think they are close out models. I use an Epic as my primary. I like it. My wife got it for me a few years ago and it was pricey.

Last year, I found one for @ $300-400 and bought it for my wife. It is the same as mine.

It looks like a good deal. You can't beat the price for an AI DC.

seems legit...

I see $385.00 not $285.00

Yes typing mistake of mine...

I'm asking myself here if 2008 dive computer model is a right choice ?
and also :

On-Unit Simulator and Dive PlannerNO
User Reset / Power OffNO
Air Time Remaining Bar GraphNO

If you have the need for those 3 features, then no. It's a decent value for new a AI wrist mount.
