I had sinus surgery a couple of years ago to remove polyps. Dr. recommended one for daily use and I can say they are a great cheap way to flush the bad stuff out of the sinus areas. Its use before a dive seems to help prime the ears/tubes a bit so that its easier to equalize once you get below the water line.

These things have been proved in real studies to help people with sinusitus.
