I've seen a few people who have neoprene seals on tri-lams and I'm wondering if it is better to use them tucked or un tucked. Most people have them tucked, but one of my buddies uses them un tucked and doesn't seem to have a problem. Most everyone else likes the comfort, but say it's hard to get a good seal.

I usually wear mine tucked. Comfortable, and I don't have a leakage problem. Depends alot on how tightly fitted the seal is, and what kind of a neck you have.

You may have noticed that most neoprene seals have a "rubber" side and a "fabric" side. The fabric side is usually on the inside so it slides over your head easier, then you tuck in the rubber side against your skin to make the seal. I imagine the rubber would seal better against the skin than the fabric.
