Hi,

We found a new old-stock 7mm neoprene drysuit for a good price locally and it fits my daughter well but the neck seal is too large for her slender neck and we need to downsize. I've found suggestions to cut pizza shaped wedges out to get the proper size and then to glue the edges back together. Are there any suggestions for using Seal Cement vs Aquaseal for the repair and will either of them hold with the stretching required to don and doff the suit?

Thanks for any suggestions you might have!

I would definitely favor neoprene seal cement. Remember that it's a 3 dimensional material so don't squash it down as you press the edges together. I think most already have similar seams from the original manufacturing so done right it should hold just fine..
