Not the report I would like to see two days before we leave for the same trip. I just talked to Nekton and was promised that we can expect a great trip. Considering their reputation, I expect any issues will have been resolved well before we get there.

That is not the type of report I want to hear right now. I just placed a deposit on the 15 - 22 Dec 07 itinerary with a considerable airline ticket price to go with it for Belize.
I can't wait to hear the report from NC Diver upon their return to see if things have indeed changed.
I thought the viz would be much better than an average of 40 ft. That's just slightly better than our local conditions here in my area. I was hoping to escape poor diving conditions by going to Belize this December.
BTW - did anyone notice that Ryan, in addition to Pam are no longer working in the front office? I am a little concerned about what might be occuring w/ Nekton. I understand turn over and staffing attrition rates.
However those front office guys really sold this company to me and I hate to see them leave. For me these were the customer service gurus.
I asked the other day where Capt Nelson might possibly be during the dates I have available.
The answer I received was "the front office has no knowledge of where Capt. Nelson will be. Here is his e-mail address, e-mail him and ask him yourself."
I found that answer less than satisfactory and competely unacceptable. In the past if I asked that question, there might have been an attempt to give me a proper answer from either Pam or Ryan.
I hate second guessing myself and wondering if I made a mistake. The good thing about this is NC Diver leaves in a couple of days and the report will be up for us to see.
If it's less than satisfactory then I'll have to make an immediate change.
