Dove there a couple weekends ago. Both Island Divers Hawaii and Waikiki Diving were decent ops, running the Southeast shore (Corsair, some artificial reefs, etc.). The diving wasn't spectacular (compared to my Maui standards), however, so I'd suggest checking out either the wrecks off Waikiki or the reefs off West Oahu, which I hear is more interesting. :)

If you end up using Waikiki Diving, make sure they bring 80's for you. Most of their customers were using 63's and ended up with some fairly short dives.

I am game for a shore dive with a local, I am headed over with the wife and 2 other friends. None dive so I am always trying to point them in the direction of shops the night before while I go dive. A roommate of mine is possibly gonna get certified this next month or two and go with if that happens Ill definately do boat dives so I know hes not diving outside his ability but if its just me I am game to hook up with locals for a dive or two. You guys always know the best place to go =D

give Scuba Diving Oahu with Ocean Concepts Hawaii - Waikiki, Honolulu, Hawaii a try they are on pearl harbor and they will pick you up in waikiki and take you diving on the west side of the island

Feb 19th through the 22 then heading over to Kona for several days.

I have done many dives with Ocean Concepts- they run a good op, and take you out to some of the better spots on the Leeward (western) side of the island. The biggest problem is their boat runs out of Waianae Boat Harbor, which is way up the leeward coast, but if they have a van it will not be too much hassle, but it is about an hour to get there, but the boat rides are short, generally less than 20-30minutes. If you have never done night diving, these guys make it a lot of fun and they are a very safe op

Personnally, I have fallen in love with the north shore diving on Oahu, (Firehouse, 3 Tables, Sharks Cove, Hale'Iwa Trench) but these are all shore diving spots are not normally divable in Feb-Mar time due to Big Waves.

I love night diving over day diving any day, then again hawaii's clear water is great any time of the day. Ill take note on the spots you said for when I go back in the Summer. We go fairly often, Im a Hilton Honors ***** and take advantage of my several hundred thousand points a year I earn by taking lots of free vacations to Hawaii. It is a convenient place for me to dive while my wife chills.
