I have 2 SmartCOM computers and both of them have developed leaks at the crimp fitting that attaches the hose to the 1st stage. The quick connect side is fine. I searched here and looked online for a replacement but haven't found them.

So is this something that I can repair/have repaired by possibly replacing the crimp connection with something better? Or splicing in another HP hose? Or is this a replacement part and if so what is the estimated cost of this part? Is there somewhere I can buy this w/ a reasonable price and delivery time. I could not find it anywhere that I looked.

Thanks

Well, I found this in the UK ... that works out to $112 + ship for each hose. I read on this board that the Sherwood hoses use the same fittings, but I could not find those either, so I don't know how they compare in cost.

I think this is the hose

I have a couple spares. Let me find them and I'm sure we can work out a deal

This would appear to be a significant shortcoming on this computer. Mine starting leaking in the same place as yours during a vacation. I had no choice but to remove it for the remaining day of my trip. After getting back, I discovered that even if you have the special tool to remove the quick disconnect fitting, the hose itself is non-standard. I ended up having my dealer order a new one. The price was about $125, even with a good discount.
