Again not wanting to be the prophet of doom here but some caution on the process.Just saw this.
You can seal a puncture with a dab of clear silicone cement on either side. It works just fine. I've got a Scubapro reg I dive with a clear silicone diaphragm with a tiny patch like that - no problem.
A tear longer than a puncture? I wouldn't even try it.
I have an Airsource 3 diaphragm I'll sell you.
