My bag was under 50lbs last time. Will check regs this time and just carry on lights, computers/transmitters, and masks. My spinner carryon didn’t work out well, so I’m going to order a new one that’s a roller. My big REI wheeled duffle was fine.
I still pack them around 50lbs, you just don't have to be as picky, particularly on the return trip where you are in "F this I'm too tired to pack this" *smash smash smash close bag run to the airport*
I love my REI duffles. I am disappointed that they discontinued the ones I have with the boot compartments. It was nice to keep my dirty boots separate.
