Getting ready to buy new Computer looking for info on Wisdom 2 I plan on getting cert for nitrox, and cave diving in the next couple of years hoping this will handle every thing I want to do. If not please give other options. Thanks

It's probably not good for cave diving. Lots of cave divers go long enough to go into decompression diving and the Wisdom 2 doesn't handle decompression diving too well. It'll let you do one and then lock you out for the rest of the day.

Also, some of these cave divers go into multi-gas diving, or even Trimix or Heliox, depending on how deep or far in they want to penetrate and their decompression schedule. The Wisdom 2 cannot handle that sort of dive.

The Wisdom 2 is a great nitrox-capable 1-gas recreational dive computer.

The Wisdom 2 would be okay for cavern diving, but once you get into cave diving a different computer is probably called for. Most cave divers use wrist mounted computers vs the console computers like the Wisdom. Depending on how much into cave diving you want to get, you can either get something like the Sherwood Profile or Insight, we sell both for about half the price of the Wisdom 2. And both are Nitrox computers. If you plan on getting really serious with cave diving, you will likely be looking at one of the much more expensive computers, in the $1500-2000 range. You're better off waiting to see what's available at that time and going with a less expensive model now.
