Need expert advise

Hi there,

I'm new to diving, but have become addicted. I'm looking in to buying my own gear now. I'm in AUS but will be heading to Vancouver Canada soon. I want to buy gear that will be good for cold water. I am looking at the Sherwood Blizzard regulator, Genesis React Pro computer, second hand poseidon occy.
I can't decide on a BCD. I'm looking at Sherwood Freedom, Sherwood Axis or Genesis Recon.
Down the track I may look into deeper, so I want some decent gear.
Any thoughts, comments, advise would be appreciated.
