I want to come to North Carolina to dive and film the wreck of U 352. Can anyone from that area please tell me which city is the wreck accessible from and are there any dive shops / clubs from where I can rent gear and dual tank set up etc? Thanks

I'd contact these guys, they found it:

Morehead City, NC or Beaufort, NC

Any of these places take divers to U-352 on a regular basis (in no particular order)-

George Purifoy from Olympus is the person who originally located the U-352 (for the second time, I guess). Some of the shops in the area probably have some VHS tapes or DVD's of the wreck if you want to do some pre-dive scouting.

Enjoy!

Regardless of who you charter with, definitely stop by Olympus dive shop (located in Beaufort). The place is a museum of artifacts pulled from that wreck.

Good Sugestion! But you better look in Morehead City for Olympus.

(I know you know that)

Thanks Rich, my bad. I don't know why I'm seeing it in my head as the waterfront in Beaufort. Been a while since I've been in there. I do most of my diving with Discovery (for no particular reason).

I did some guide diving for some folks filming the 352 last year. If you're interested in a guide to the interior of the wreck, I'm available.
