Need dive op for Lake Michigan

Thanks for the info everyone. I still have one more question. Since I am from Florida 40 deg water is pretty freakin cold. Would I be able to rent a drysuit? If so what is the rate and do you need additional training to wear one? I have no use for one down here. Thanks
 
Drysuit training is HIGHLY recommended. Personally I wouldn't dive Lake Michigan in a wet suit in June -- but then again, I'm a wuss! If it's a thick wet suit and you are a hardy person, you should be OK. Good gloves are a must too.

If you can locate some drysuit training in FL before you come north, that would be the best of both worlds. One more skill for you and a much more comfortable dive.
