Tattoos are too personal IMO to take suggestions from other folks. You also wouldn't want to copy what someone else has, do you? It took me 3 years to finally go ahead with my tattoo, but once I found exactly what I wanted to do, it was an easy decision.

My tattoo is my avatar, though that picture was taken when it was new so it's definitely not that bright red now.

My favorite line about tattoos, which pretty much sums them up to me:

Some kid on a local news show was complaining that his mom and dad wouldn't let him get a tattoo "I should be able to get a tattoo to express my individuallity - just like everybody else."

Garobbo, you will do what you want. I have three (one is now my avatar) and will get one more of a Queen Angel on my left shoulder. My husband is looking at a tattered dive flag and a moray, need to work out the details.
