They are forecasting a warm summer. If it is anything like last summer, surface temps could hit the upper 70's. Poor kelp.

With that said, I still dive a 7mm with a 7mm hooded vest (or occasionally a 7mm semi-dry without vest) year-round. I've found temps at depth to sometimes be colder in the summer than in winter! By keeping the same exposure protection, I don't worry about adjusting weights seasonally.
