If you keep your regulators a long time, skip the dive rite, three years from now, parts won't be available from DR for the regulator.

Hi,

Our swiveling turret regulator, the 3100, has been in production in various shapes or forms for over 10 years. We still service these very same regs, plus our parts kits are free (you only pay for service) through an authorized Dive Rite dealer or directly at the factory.

The Dive Rite 3100 series (and its model predecessors) use several proprietary parts, so it is best to use Dive Rite parts kits (and why not...they're free).

Thanks for posting and allowing us to clear up this misconception,
Kathleen
