Thanks for your response. I emailed the resort. the only issue is that they want your credit card number in advance to secure your reservation. Another one emailed me and suggested i call when I arrive at Cabo to check conditions, etc. i like that idea better

Just got back from a trip to Cabo San Lucas in late September. We did a day trip to Cabo Pulmo and wished we would have stayed there instead. Quiet, pristine, isolated, and beautiful.

The DMs at CP Dive Center were exemplary. Briefings were thorough and your safety was paramount. My husband thought they were a bit too much on the "dive Nazi" side, but after coming from Cabo San Lucas diving, I welcomed the attention to detail.

The visibility wasn't great, but it was good. The fish life was abundant and colorful. Lots of large groupers and huge schools of porcupine fish, hundreds of them. It was our last day of diving and they were talking about going to a particular spot the following day where they had seen a Bull and Tiger shark. My husband was so disappointed he couldn't go.

Maybe you'll see them!

Hey Bolter and Scubadancer and Dave,
Thanks for the posts. Sounds like April is a good time to go. I'm in Guatemala right now (how spoiled am I?) so the dive trip in April will work fine. Thanks again to all for the advice. After we go, we'll post some info.
happy trails, all.
