Hello... I'll be in San Diego next month and hope to get in a day of diving while I'm there.
Can someone suggest a good dive center to make reservations through?

Thanks in advance.

Here's a good place to start:

For most of the local boat trips, you're better off booking directly with the boats instead of dealing with the shop as a middleman. All of the boats can set you up with rental gear if needed.

For boat diving, I highly recommend Lois Ann Dive charters. Excellent operation, and they have Nitrox available. Just as a caveat, I am not affiliated with them in any way. I'm just a local diver and I've done many dives with them and this is just an opinion derived from my experience with that operator.
