Suggestion Need a ScubaBoard chatroom

This has been brought up several times but is probably not going to happen for a number of reasons. Primarily a chat room means the need for a great deal of moderation around the clock which is simply not feasible. There are of course some small scuba chatrooms you can find on google or various irc servers.
 
Scubaboard is like a chat room anyway.
 
Wouldnt a profanity filter be a simple solution? Possibly the addition of an 'ignore user' feature. Think the benefits would far outweigh the costs.
 
Having a limited number of scheduled chats would be a good way to get around the need for a round the clock babysitter, like maybe 2x/week for a few hours or something like that.
I was on a chat last week with some folks from the midwest, such a crappy chat program was in use it just screamed for improvement.
There is always ICQ, we used to do that with the Diverlink crew every now & then.
